WEST NORMAN SPECIALIST

Hey y’all, thanks for stopping by! I grew up in Oklahoma, graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2012 and was married shortly after to my lovely wife. Our original plan was for me to pursue my Ph.D. in Biophysics at an institute in Vienna, Austria, but God had other plans for us! We chose instead to settle down in Norman and plant roots here, and I couldn't be more grateful we stayed and made this town our family's home. 4 kids later, we couldn't ask for a better place to raise them or for a better community to support us.

After working for a terrific biotech firm for a couple years, I realized that my extroverted personality didn't fit very well behind a lab bench, and it didn’t seem to be a good long-term career plan for me. I had developed a strong interest in real estate for the sake of investing, so I decided to shift my career into the real estate industry. I got my real estate license in 2015 and started selling homes immediately!

Real estate sales and marketing have been a perfect fit for me. I love being with people, and helping care for people's needs. I love the complex problem solving that comes with listing strategy or financing challenges. And I love a good competition, and knowing I got a great deal for my clients in a negotiation.

So, why West Norman? 

Marketing is a form of culture building. As a real estate agent in the digital age, it has been very easy to get lost in a sea of internet leads. I have met some incredible people over the years through Facebook and internet marketing, and I hope to continue to have the honor of serving them for decades to come. However, I have not felt momentum growing towards making an impact on a specific community. In 2023, I decided that I wanted my marketing to help build a sense of place and community identity for folks. 

West Norman is the place I want to build up. I love West Norman. We moved our family to West Norman in 2020, and have been welcomed by so many terrific folks on this side of town. Ever since my wife gave birth to our twins in 2022, I've been building my business closer to home so I can be more available for our growing family! 

In December 2023, I began studying and specializing in the West Norman market so that I could be especially useful to my friends and neighbors on this side of town. I make sure I know every listing that hits the market as soon as it shows up in case it’s a good fit for one of my buyers. I run an open house most every weekend at a different home in the Warwick/Berkeley/Cascade neighborhoods as a way to be extremely familiar with the market as well as get to know more of my nearby neighbors. And I have become especially proud of the market impact I’m starting to have on the Carnoustie/Ladybank circle and making sure those terrific homes get the prices they deserve. 

It has been an honor to serve hundreds of amazing families with their real estate needs over the last 10 years. I am looking forward to serving hundreds more of you over the next 10 years!
