About Maven Real Estate
Maven is not just a catchy name. Maven is a standard.
Maven comes from a Hebrew word which means “one who understands.” It can sound like a brag: “Look at me, I’m a smart guy!” But we take being Mavens as our duty. That shows up in two ways:
First, we believe it is our duty to have deep knowledge of what we are doing in representing our clients. This means understanding in depth market analysis, understanding the systems of a house, and understanding all the financial aspects of the transaction for our clients.
Second, we believe it is our duty to have strong communication in order to represent our clients well. This means understanding our clients’ needs, negotiating by understanding other agents’ and their clients’ perspectives (in often tense and even angry situations), and bringing understanding to our clients by translating complex subjects that affect their situation into simple terms.
It’s not that we're always perfect or feel like we have perfectly met the bar. But every day we wake up and believe we have to strive to uphold that standard. It bleeds out of everything we do, not because we are superhuman or anything, but because that is the standard we hold ourselves to. It is what it means to be a Maven.
Being a Maven isn’t efficient. It takes more time. It takes a lot more effort. But we believe that it is the only way to treat our clients the way we want to be treated. And so, that’s why we're so committed to being Mavens with every client, in every situation, every time.
